"Micro- Enterprise in Rural Women’s Groups: Production and Commercialization of Eggs"

This project aims to introduce a type of chicken to the rural communities which, when properly managed, lays eggs throughout 95% of the year, as opposed to the present rustic chicken which lays during only four months of the year.

Four communities will undergo a series of training sessions, eight in total, to provide them with a firm background in chicken farming. Foundation supervision in the implementation of acquired skills, and aid in the commercialization process of the eggs will follow this. The final aim of the project is the creation of self-sustainable micro-businesses within the communities.
