CLOSING THE TECHNOLOGY GAP IN AMERICA

We work, not only to bridge the digital divide in our own neighborhoods, but also to help close the technology gap in the rest of the country. Over 15% of the nation’s households do not own any sort of computer including smartphones, and over 25% of the population does not have any form of Internet access at home. We provide low-cost computers to disadvantaged individuals across the U.S. and provide nonprofits with the technology resources they need through our computer grant program and nonprofit store.

FIGHTING FAMILY HOMELESSNESS IN BROCKTON, MA

Housing Families fights family homelessness by providing safe, temporary shelter and quality affordable housing. They use our computers for their after-school tutoring program for homeless children.

JOB TRAINING FOR AT-RISK IN NYC

In New York the Bronx Clergy Criminal Justice Roundtable are using our computer grant to provide entrepreneurship training to youth and adults who are either on probation, court-involved, at-risk, involved in gangs, or live in homes with domestic violence.

For many of these individuals this is their only opportunity to escape their current circumstances and better their lives.
