Imagine Not Having Access To Technology… Given our geographic location in the tech-savvy Pacific Northwest and the incredible rise of the smartphone, many of us have taken technology for granted. Lacking access to technology, however, is still a major issue for many individuals in our community. Households without technology face greater barriers to bettering their economic situations, than those who have a computer at home. Technology provides access to things like resume creation, job applications, college applications, homework, and vital services like affordable health care.

But What If There Was An Easy Way To Help?

Good news! InterConnection is at it again this year, hosting our annual eCycle Collection Event presented by CenturyLink. On Saturday April 9th from 10am – 2pm join us by dropping off your used electronics and make a BIG impact! To make it even easier for you, this year we have two major drop off locations; InterConnection in Seattle and the new CenturyLink Store in Bellevue.

By donating your used electronics to InterConnection you’re helping someone in need get connected. Thanks to your donations, InterConnection is able to offer high quality refurbished electronics to low-income individuals, students and nonprofits.

I Want To Donate, But I’m Worried About My Data…

We destroy all data on laptops, desktops, hard drives, tablets and smartphones. InterConnection is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction. We wipe or destroy hard drive data on all computers and laptops. All reusable hard drives are immediately wiped with industry leading software. Our free standard wiping is Department of Defense 5220.22-M and NIST 800-88 compliant. Non-reusable hard drives are shredded and destroyed.

InterConnection is the only nonprofit in the U.S. with two industry leading electronics recycling certifications, R2 and ISO14001. This means we only use audited, U.S. based companies for recycling electronics we can’t reuse.

On Saturday April 9th, Where Do I Go To Drop-Off My Electronics?

Stop by InterConnection’s main facility in Fremont on Stone Way N and N 35th street. Get Directions Here!

What If I Live On the Eastside? Come see us in Bellevue on 10th street at the CenturyLink Store. Get Directions Here!

What Electronics Do You Accept?

We are in great need of laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones and LCD monitors. By donating these specific items you are allowing us to get vital technology back into the hands of people in need as quickly as possible. We will also be accepting the items on this list at both the Bellevue CenturyLink location and InterConnection’s Seattle location on Saturday April 9th. View Accepted Items List
