1. 4,000 COMPUTERS TO SCHOOLS IN CHILE
**********************
Over the next six months InterConnection will send 4,000 computers to a non profit in Santiago, Chile. The Chilean non profit will donate the computers to schools and community organizations throughout the country. InterConnection’s director, Charles Brennick, met with the organization in Chile last December to finalize the agreement. This is the largest refurbished computer program in Chile and we are very pleased to be involved in the project.

2. FREE COMPUTER RECYCLE SPECIAL

3. INTERCONNECTION FEATURED at the International Computer Refurbishers Summit 2007
**********************
InterConnection’s director Charles Brennick gave a presentation on supplying computers to developing countries at the international computer refurbishers summit in Washington D.C. on March 9th. The conference was attended by nearly two-hundred computer refurbishers.

4. INTERCONNECTION UGANDA – PROGRESS REPORT
**********************
InterConnection is supporting a project to set up a computer refurbishing program in Kampala Uganda. Three future employees of the center came from Uganda to Seattle, Washington to train at the IC computer reuse center. Computers for InterConnection Uganda were shipped on March 5. In mid June students and volunteers will travel to Uganda to help set up the center.

6. NEW PARTNERS - YOUTH CARE AND SOUTHWEST COMPUTER CENTER

InterConnection recently teamed with two non profit organizations that support youth who are experiencing alienation, conflict, and homelessness. Youth from both organizations will regularly volunteer at the Center and receive computer hardware and software training.

7. ECYCLE EVENTS

Ecycle Earth Corps a Success!
On April 1, 2006 InterConnection and the environmental non profit Earth Corps partnered and carried out an electronics recycling event at Sand Point Magnuson Park in Seattle. The event nearly filled a 40 foot tractor trailer with discarded TVs, monitors and old computers.

8. NEW STAFF
**********************
Ken Smith was hired as our new volunteer coordinator for the Computer Reuse and Learning Center. Ken has extensive experience in computer networking and programming.

Eimear O’Neill was hired to as the Development Specialist. She will help develop the software training program and update our existing hardware program. Eimear comes from Goodwill where she oversaw their computer training program.

Paul Wagner was hired to test and prepare computers, erase hard drives and help with numerous daily tasks. Paul was an exceptional volunteer at the Center and will be a valuable addition to the IC team.
