BELIZE BANK BUILDING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

In September of last year, Belize Bank Ltd. began a much-valued partnership with Habitat for Humanity Belize.  Belize Bank donated funds to purchase the materials for one house and staff members in Belize City will participate in the house construction of Habitat’s Partner Family, the Olgadez’.

The members of the Olgadez family will benefit greatly from this “investment” of the Belize Bank as they work alongside the staff members.  The Belize Bank, as a responsible corporate citizen, makes a strong statement of its commitment to community development as it joins forces with HFH Belize in demonstrating the love of God and bringing joy and happiness to a family in need.

While waiting for the construction of the Olgadez house to start, Belize Bank volunteers kept their construction skills sharpened by helping Gary Card, Jenevieve Ramirez and their five children paint their house.  The volunteers had a fun day putting the final touches on the house and getting to know more about Habitat’s program.
