GIVING TO INTERCONNECTION

InterConnection accepts all computers for free, regardless of whether or not it is in working condition. Fees are charged for dead and old monitors and certain peripherals.  We have programs for both computer recycling and computer reuse. Either way, giving to InterConnection helps people and the environment, and is completely secure and tax-deductible. We make it easy, too.

Many Great Reasons

It's completely safe and secure. All data is securely wiped from hard drives for free using Department of Defense standards.  We also provide certified data destruction and hard drive shredding for a small fee. More >

You get a tax break. As a certified 501c3 nonprofit organization, we provide receipts for tax-deduction purposes.

It helps people and the planet. Computer recycling ensures that no parts end up in a landfill. Computer reuse is even better; it extends the life of a working computer so we can send it someone in need. More >

It does good locally and globally. We provide valuable hardware skills training to local low-income volunteers through our computer reuse program. Those computers are then sent to schools and organizations within underserved communities worldwide.

Recycling vs. Reuse

The story always starts the same, with a computer that no longer has a place in your home or business. When you bring that computer to InterConnection, we determine whether or not it can be refurbished for reuse or if it must be recycled because it is too old or nonfunctional. More >
