InterConnection provides low-cost computers to schools, nonprofits and other organizations in developing countries. We provide the highest quality refurbished computers at the lowest possible cost. We upgrade and test each computer so it is ready to use upon arrival and remains reliable over time.

You can see what you'll receive. Our unique inventory tracking system lets you see a complete list of the computers you will receive. See sample inventory >
We provide Windows and Office in your language. We are a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher and can install licensed Windows XP and Office in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French.
We give you more - for free. We carefully pack all shipments to ensure their safe arrival. As an extra precaution, we include 5% additional units on orders of 50 units or more just in case of any damage in transit.

Qualifications

The recipient organization must work in the area of health, education, and/or community development.
The recipient organization must have available premises, electrical supply, and adequate security to ensure sustainable use of the computer equipment.
Appropriate IT training, support, and maintenance must be locally available to the organization so the computers will be put to immediate, productive and long-term use.
InterConnection reserves the right to decline any individual request.

Costs

We charge a per-unit fee to source, test, upgrade, and pack each computer and monitor. Fees vary according to quantity and shipping destination. Keyboards, mice and power cables are included at no charge.
Shipping fees, including any pre-inspection, courier, notary, and certification costs, are the responsibility of the recipient.
InterConnection is not a funding organization and cannot provide financial assistance for shipping.
Full payment for computers and shipping must be received prior to shipment.

Guarantee

We carefully pack all shipments to ensure their safe arrival. As an extra precaution, we include 5% additional units for free on orders of 50 units or more just in case of any damage in transit.

Shipping

Computers can be shipped to you or picked up at the Center in Seattle, WA.
You can make your own shipping arrangements or InterConnection can make them for you.
On international orders only, there is a minimum order of 18 computers if InterConnection carries out the shipping arrangements.

Pentium IV - High End $80 US Per Unit
1.8 to 2.8 Ghz processor, 40 GB Hard drive or higher, Minimum 512 MB Ram, CD Rom, Floppy Disk, Network Card, Sound
and video cards. No Windows installed. Name brand only computers – Dell, Compaq, Gateway, etc. Monitor not included.
