In addition to several 8mm cameras used in classes and workshops, The Centro de Mujeres Comunicadoras Mayas possesses one of the most advanced analogue editing facilities in rural Guatemala. Located in Panajachel, municipality of Sololá, we can easily offer access to people from all sides of Lago Atitlan, and clients and students come from outlying areas as well.

We can edit in A/B roll from Hi8 video to Betacam SP, using all Sony equipment.

Our titler is a Targa + which also offers some simple animation, frame capture and other effects which are transferable to other multimedia computers.

Our sound studio is available for sound effects and multitrack soundtracks.
