Computer Reuse Bill Becomes Law
On April 29, 2009 Washington State's governor Christine Gregoire signed HB 1522 into law. The law allows computer collectors to perform basic repairs on computers received through the Washington State Ecycle program. Repairs were not allowed under the previous restrictions in the program. InterConnection supporters worked hard to ensure the passing of the law. We are very pleased it passed since it ensures more computers will get reused. 30 Computers to School in Paraguay
New Horizon School has over 700 students from low-income families. Computers
will be used for their new computer lab received the computers

PCV Mark Kampert arranged a shipment of computers to set up labs for
the Andara Combine School. Mark got the effort rolling by returning to his
hometown of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and speaking at local schools.
